A great day at the Portsmouth Street Games and Urban Paint Festival. Unfortunately I only managed to make it to the Saturday but the paint that had already been thrown up looked amazing so Sunday would have looked epic. Displays on the park from Zero Gravity and Southsea Skate Park were pretty damn impressive.

Ooseita is an 88 year old man who is the only person in his small Palaung hill village of Peine Pin above Kalaw who is able to read and write. He spent some time as the village elder (chief) and has spent his life recording the history of his village and has also been tasked by other villages to write records for them. He is the last person to live in the traditional wooden house, however was building his new brick house when we met him.
